Return Policy:
For newly delivered orders, return requests must be made within 10 days of receipt. We will accept returns for defective or unwanted items at our discretion. Colombian Leather House must authorize all returns and issue a return authorization number; this may be requested by phone, email, or fax. Returns made more than 10 days from the date of receipt, or without a return authorization number, will not be accepted.
Once authorized, items may be returned by Canada Post with insurance. At the discretion of Colombian Leather House, defective items will either be replaced, repaired, or a credit note will be issued.
When returning an item due to dissatisfaction with colour or style, ALL costs of shipping the unwanted item back to us must be paid by the customer. This includes the shipping fees and customs tariffs (when coming from outside of Canada).
Exchanges
Within 10 days of receipt, Colombian Leather House accepts requests for a change of colour or style. You may exchange products only for an item with the same or higher value. We cannot refund the difference should you choose to exchange the item for one with a lower price. Exchanges will ONLY be processed if the product(s) being returned are in good condition and are accompanied by the original packaging and receipt.
Please note: The shipping cost for delivering the new item will be charged to your account, and you will also have to pay to send the original item back to us.
Our returns and exchange policy only applies to items bought on our site. For items purchased at a retailer, please contact that retailer to find out about their returns policy.
Warranty:
At Colombian Leather House, we take great pride in the quality and workmanship of the fine QUEROS®, and TOTTO products we carry. All our products are guaranteed against faulty workmanship and materials for 1 YEAR form the date of purchase.
Given reasonable wear and tear, should any fault or defect occur during this time, Colombian Leather House will, at its discretion, repair or replace your product at no charge. Repaired items will be returned to you within 10 business days.
Our warranty only covers manufacturers’ defects. It does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, over-filling pockets, accidental damage or normal wear and tear
- Claims for minor scratches or scar wrinkles that are natural to leather
- Repairs made or attempted by someone other than Colombian Leather House
- Damage to contents (including but not limited to computers, mobile phones, etc.) due to failure of the product
Should you notice a defect during the 1 year warranty period, please call Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-818-7123, or email us at queros@colombianleatherhouse.com, and request your Return Authorization Number. Once approved, ship the product postage paid, and don’t forget to include your receipt.
If you don’t have your receipt for your online purchase, please include a letter with your name, phone number, approximate date of purchase, the reason for the return, and your Return Authorization Number.
We will send you an email to notify you that we have received it. For security reasons, we suggest you insure the package for the value of its contents. We cannot be responsible for packages lost in the mail.
Be advised that items returned without following these procedures DO NOT entitle you to get a credit or any other service.
