Terms and conditions of sale

All full sales orders placed with Colombian Leather House are subject to the following conditions:

General conditions

  • All products are priced as blank, un-imprinted merchandise.
  • Un-printed merchandise is shipped within 48 hours.
  • Pricing is F.O.B our warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario.
  • 50% deposit is required for any customized orders.

Payment Terms

Regular Online Customers:
• Payment will be immediately charged to a credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Merchandise is shipped once payment is verified through our web merchant.

Registered Retailers/Dealers:
• First-time orders will be shipped COD or paid for by credit card. Company cheques will be accepted upon approval by your credit agency and a satisfactory bank reference. Orders placed with prepaid personal cheque will be filled two weeks after the cheque has been deposited.
• To create an open account, new customers must complete and return a signed credit application. Until we receive your credit application and satisfactory credit information, payment terms are COD or cash.
• All returned/NSF cheques are subject to a $35.00 service charge, payable upon receipt of invoice.

Delivery:
• Delivery ranges from immediately to 6 weeks, depending on location. Goods are insured and shipped via Fedex or Canada Post. Alternate shipping methods can be arranged if requested when your order is placed. Back orders will follow unless cancelled.

Order confirmation/cancellation:
• We DO NOT require written confirmation for web, telephone or fax orders. If your company policy requires you to send written confirmation, please write “purchase order confirmation” in large bold letters. We are not responsible for duplicate shipments if confirmations aren't marked this way.
• Order cancellations must be received prior to shipment of goods. All cancellations DO require written confirmation- telephone cancellations must be followed up in writing (fax or email).
 
Return Policy:
• For newly delivered orders, claims for defective items must be made within 10 days of receipt. Colombian Leather House must authorize all returns and issue a return authorization number; this may be requested by phone, email, or fax. Returns made more than 10 days from the date of receipt, or without a return authorization number, will not be accepted.
• Once authorized, new and defective items may be returned by Canada Post with insurance. At the discretion of Colombian Leather House, items returned within 10 days of receipt will either be repaired, replaced, or a credit note will be issued.
• We will also accept requests for a change of color or styles within 10 days of receipt IF the product(s) being returned are in good condition and are accompanied by the original packaging. The shipping cost of the new item will be charged to your account.
• Queros products are guarnteed with a warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase. Should any fault or defect occur during this time, items can be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Colombian Leather House. For more information on returns and our warranty Click Here.
